Sometimes you run into a situation where a policy, technology, or other forces outside of your control interfere with your interaction with customers. I had one of those experiences with Manager Kevin at Taco Bell in Naperville, IL.
I pulled into this gas station last night at about 22:30 and I was the only car in the lot. As I looked across the way at the Speedway on the other side of Crawford, the Speedway was busy and things were happening there as much as can happen at a gas station. After purchasing gas I made my way inside to use the restroom. I passed the station attendant as I went inside and he followed behind me after taking a smoke break. He saw me head towards the restroom as he headed back to the counter.
