Attentiveness
Talk about pet peeves. This is one of mine. This element of my criteria is self explanatory, but one that can drive me crazy. From the customers perspective, I believe, most customers can tell when their server or associate is paying attention to the them and when the associate or server is distracted by something else. The number of problems that result from this are many and many examples could be given. The biggest reason I get bothered when a service provider is not giving me the proper amount of attention I require at the appropriate time is because I feel blown off, like I don't really matter. As a customer, I want to matter, and if I don't matter to you, I most likely will not be your customer. This point is really an easy one, but if missed can leave a lasting impression. Pay attention to your customers, listen to what they have to say, and act accordingly.
